Accessibility statement
ReHuman Lab wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on assistive technologies. This statement follows the model required by Decree-Law no. 83/2018 and says plainly where we stand and what we are still fixing.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the minimum accessibility requirements of Decree-Law no. 83/2018, which adopts level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1). The exceptions are listed below.
The site is built with semantic HTML, a single main heading per page, keyboard operation for every function, visible focus, a skip link, text alternatives for images and color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text.
Content that is not yet accessible
- The captions and the transcript of the founder's film were generated automatically and are being reviewed by the founder. Until then they may contain small errors.
- A few large display lines, such as quotations and manifesto lines set in large serif type, use a line height below 1.5 times the font size.
- The free guides (PDF) are still hosted on the previous website. Their text can be extracted and they have a title, but they are not tagged for screen readers yet and have no document language set.
- We have not yet tested the website with screen readers or with users with disabilities. Both are planned.
How this statement was prepared
This statement was prepared on for the new version of the website. Method: automated assessment of every page with axe-core 4.10 in Chrome (WCAG 2.1 A and AA, desktop and mobile), measurement of text sizes, line height, target sizes and page structure on every page, and a manual review against the three checklists of the Selo de Usabilidade e Acessibilidade ("10 critical aspects of functional accessibility", "Content" and "Transaction").
An assessment with AccessMonitor will be run on the published address and added here.
